Midwest Steel recently completed a major demolition project at Total’s Port Arthur Refinery, clearing the way for construction of a $2 billion ethane cracker.  After startup planned for late 2019, the cracker will supply up to 1 million tons of ethane per year to the Gulf Coast region.    The leadership team from Total Petrochemicals and Refining USA commended Midwest Steel for completing the project under budget, ahead of schedule, and with no injuries and incidents.
